I am committed to providing top-notch service to individuals and families who share the same passion for Leelanau County as I do. Whether it's a first home, a piece of vacant land on which to build your dream home or a waterfront cottage that will be the basis for generations of memories, I strive to match buyers with the perfect piece of property for them. Sellers also receive first class treatment with aggressive marketing of their properties through electronic and print advertisements, targeted mailings and social media campaigns. If there’s anything I can do to fulfill your real estate needs, please don’t hesitate to Contact me
I was born and raised in Leelanau County, attended Glen Lake Community Schools, and despite living elsewhere for the decade of my 20’s, Leelanau has always been home. My ties to the Glen Lake area stretch back four generations to 1939 when my great-grandfather purchased property and built our family cottage on the east shore of Big Glen. Growing up, I took full advantage of the endless opportunities for adventure that Leelanau County has to offer. Swimming, sailing and waterskiing on the area's world-class lakes during the summer, exploring the woods in the spring and fall, and skiing on the slopes of Sugarloaf Mountain all winter long. In 2010 I left a career in banking in Philadelphia and returned home with my future wife. Along with Cassidy, our sons Ethan & Simon, and golden retriever Barley, I continue to enjoy and explore this place we call home.
Since entering real estate in 2010 I’ve been involved in over 250 transaction sides, covering the full spectrum of property types from primary residential, inland and Lake Michigan waterfront, vacant lots & acreage, as well as development, resort & commercial properties. In late 2016, I assumed the additional responsibility of Sales Manager for the Glen Arbor office, in which I’m tasked with overseeing an office of 5 sales associates and new agent recruitment. In additional to sales, I also manage a small number of weekly vacation rental homes and cottages under my Glen Arbor Rentals dba.
Prior to my career in real estate, I earned a degree in economics from the University of New Hampshire and subsequently joined PNC Capital Markets in their Philadelphia office. Most of my time was spent in the Debt Capital Markets group, assisting deal teams in the execution of both Middle Market and Large Corporate leveraged and investment grade transactions. I left the bank after 5 1/2 successful years as a Senior Associate and Assistant Vice President.
I find great pleasure in pursuing a variety of outdoor activities. Kiteboarding, waterskiing, sailing, road & mounting biking, and trail running consume my free time during the warmer months and alpine and nordic skiing are my primary winter activities. I'm also an avid woodworker and though time in the shop is limited these days, I enjoy it immensely.
